RESUMO

pH adjustment was considered a simple step in the hydrometallurgy process, but its complicated operation was ignored in the past. In some industrial applications, the leachate pH was slowly adjusted by a diluted alkaline solution, with the defects of doubling the leachate volume and causing droplet hydrolysis/coagulation. Up to date, promising routes have been developed for rapid pH adjustment, especially in sealed high-temperature/pressure vessels. New routes emerged in some redox/decomposition reactions of nitrate/urea and organics. Such reactions did not start and/or were slow at room temperature but started spontaneously at high temperatures to generate/consume free H+. This induced pH adjustment in a rapid and homogeneous way.

RESUMO

Objective:The aim of the current study is to understand the sleep disorders in children with autism and related factors. Methods:A case-control study method was conducted in this study which included 198 children autism who met the criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fourth Edition (DSM-Ⅳ) and 233 cases of gender-and age-matched normal children.Their general demographic and sleep data were collected and the children with autism were assessed with Autism Behavior Checklist,Child Behavior Checklist and Autism Spectrum Screening Questionnaire.Correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed to compare sleep quality, sleep problems and the related factors of the two groups. Results:The scores of difficulty falling asleep, sleep restlessness, taking hold or shaking, restless sleep, interrupted sleep, nightmares, sleepwalking, night terrors, sleep snoring, nocturnal enuresis, sleep apnea, mouth breathing, sweating and sleep scores were higher in the autism group compared to the normal control group before falling asleep (P < 0.05),while the proportion of daytime sleep time in the autism group was lower than the normal control group (P <0.05).With sleep status as dependent variable, linear regression analysis was conducted with children's birth weight, walking month age, speaking month age, father age,and autism spectrum as independent variables. The multiple linear regression analysis showed the scores of,sensory behaviors, body and object use behaviors, and self-help behaviors in Autism Behavior Checklist for autistic children were positively associated with their sleep (β =0.21,0.21,0.29,P < 0.05).However,paternal age at birth in the autism group had negative associatin with the sleep of autistic children (β =-0.16,P <0.05).In the autism group, their total scores of Autism Behavior Checklist and the scores of language and social behavior in Autism Behavior Checklist were not associated with their sleep status score (P > 0.05).Conclusion:It suggests that children with autism may have more sleep problems, and their sleep problems are related to autism symptoms including the scores of,sensory behaviors, body and object use behaviors, and self-help behaviors in Autism Behavior Checklist for autistic and their paternal age at birth.

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the relationship between the anxiety condition and educational background of the autistic children's parents. Methods Questionnaires for the self-evaluation of anxiety were collected from the parents of 140 children with autism. Results The autistic children's mothers had significantly higher score of anxiety than the fathers (42. 73 ±8. 25) (t =6. 783,P <0. 05). The autistic boy's parents had significantly higher anxiety pressure than autistic girl's parents ( 51.38 ± 11.24 vs. 43.23 ± 6. 12) ( t = 4. 894,P <0. 05). The anxiety intensity of the autistic children's parents was negatively correlated with the parents'educational background ( F = 10. 788, P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion The autistic children' s parents had certain anxiety, which is correlated with the their educational background and genders of the autistic children. It is necessary to interfere the negative mood to facilitate the treatment of the autistic children.

RESUMO

Objective To compare the risk factor of chilldren with autism and ordinary children during perinatal period. Methods One hundred and fourty children with autism and 82 ordinary children were reviewed by self-written general circumstance questionnaire and risk factor questionnaire. Results Viral influenza during pregnancy (x2 =15.29) ,bom suffocate( x2 =6. 04) , premature delivery (x2 =6. 48) , dystocia (x2 =2. 83) and artificial feeding ( x2 = 6. 02 ) were risk factors for children autism (P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion Childeren autism is associated with risk factors in rinatal period. Early dectecion and early prevention and treatment may improve the outcome.
